Sheila earned her Bachelor of Science degree in Elementary Education with a minor in Psychology at City College of New York, followed by a Master of Science in Communications Disorders at Western Kentucky University, a Master of Science in Education with a concentration in School Counseling at Long Island University, and a Certificate in Advanced Studies in Mental Health Counseling from Alfred University.
Sheila is a compassionate and empathetic counselor with a desire to assist others. During her sessions, she strives to create a warm and safe environment where the clients can be heard, allowing them to express their true selves. She provides therapy for children, adolescents, and adults of all ages who suffer from anxiety, depression, and trauma. Her goal is to encourage personal growth and healing through support and connection, using a variety of therapeutic skills.
